2024 positions available:

BAKER

Do you enjoy baking and working mornings?  Our baker works independently to prepare our famous boat farm bread and apple crisp from scratch for our dinner cruises.  

Will train the right person if no professional experience but you must have excellent multi-tasking skills and work well unsupervised.

  •  All shifts are mornings starting at approx. 6 a.m. 

  • 20-30 hours/week

  • Flexible days Tuesday to Sunday

  • Part-time or full-time hours from 15-30 hours/week

  • May 22 to October 6

GRASS CUTTER & CLEANER

Part-time 10-20 hours/week.

Ideal for young students or retired person. Shifts can be evenings (during school months) and mornings starting at 8 a.m. (during summer months)

Your duties will include:

  • cutting grass on a riding lawn mower and trim weeks using a diesel weed trimmer  

  • clean boats & kitchen (vacuum, mop, clean washrooms, etc.)

WAIT STAFF

Do you enjoy working with the public or want more experience in the hospitality industry?  Our meal is served banquet style on board our 3 dinner cruise boats.  Wait staff will be required to assist in setting up tables, plating and serving the meal, clearing tables, washing dishes, bartending (if over 18).     

  • Various shifts between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.

  • Must be available to work until mid-October.

  • All ages are welcome to apply

  • Must work well as a team and be able to work in fast-paced environment on you feet and in various summer weather conditions

  • First Aid and Marine Safety Training will be provided

BOAT CAPTAIN

Ideal for a semi-retired/retired person who enjoys working with the public and the outdoors. The boat captain provides a narration during the cruise while safely piloting the boat and dealing directly with customers and crew. You must enjoy public speaking, work well as a team and be prepared to work under pressure. A rewarding and fulfilling position for someone who is looking for a longstanding summer seasonal position.

  • Boating experience on a pleasure craft is ideal however practical, first aid and marine safety training will be provided before becoming certified with Transport Canada.

  • Shifts can vary from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m or 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • 2-5 days/week from end of May to early October
